M-Pesa is a dominant money transfer in Kenya. Yet there still are complications when it comes to making online purchases on sending money abroad. So how do you transfer money from M-Pesa to PayPal.
Here are some of the requirements you need to satisfy before making this transfer
- Have a PayPal account.
- Go to paypal-mobilemoney.com/m-pesa and click on log in.
- Enter your password and email address.
- Add your M-Pesa phone number.

How To send money to your PayPal via M-PESA
- Log into your account at paypal-mobilemoney.com/m-pesa
- Click “Top Up”
- Enter the amount you would like to top up in USD
- Click “Calculate” to get the amount converted in Kenya Shillings (This amount to transfer from M-PESA.
- Go to your M-PESA menu
- Select “Lipa na M-PESA”
- Choose “Pay Bill”.
- Enter Business Number 800088.
- Enter your phone number as the Account Number.
- Enter your M-PESA PIN
- Press “Send”.
You will get a confirmation message from M-Pesa

Additional information
There is a 4% conversion fee in standard addition to Pay bill M-PESA charges (limits of amount transferable 70,000 per transaction and 140,000) will apply. At times it takes close 4 hours before the amount reflects in your PayPal account.
