How to sambaza Airtel credit

  Airtel

Transfer of Airtel airtime has been made easier by the service provider. You can now transfer credit from Airtel to Airtel subscriber. The process is relatively simple and should take you a few minutes to execute. The service provider uses the ME2U service and SMS for this purpose albeit with security to protect your airtime being transferred without your permission.

Using Me2u Airtel

  • Go to your SIM kit tool
  • Select Airtel services on top of the list
  • Go to ME2U on top
  • Click on send airtime
  • Enter the amount in Ksh you’d wish to send
  • Enter the phone number or choose from the list on your phone book
  • Click okay on the prompt that comes to enquire if you want to send the said amount to the number you have entered
  • Wait for a confirmation message from Airtel

 Using SMS

  • Alternatively, you can compose a text that will allow you to share your airtime.
  • Go to your messages
  • On the main body of the test type
  • 2U (Space) Phone number (Space) Amount (space) password
  • Your default password is 0000 but you can change it to your preferred digits.

Airtel charges 3% on the amount transferred. However, despite this percentage, the network provider has a minimum amount you can be charged pegged at Ksh 1.20. This means that transfers below Ksh 4 may not actually be possible to execute.

Apart from this limitation, to sambaza Airtel credit to another number is fairly secure granted the procedures in either of the means compared to other network providers wherein no password is required.
